For this piece, I focused on the idea of connecting light to uplifting thoughts. The piece looks like a flame, so I decided to form that into an eternal flame, meaning that the light will, and can, always be found. Continuing, the piece is heavy with some holes to show light from the inside at the very bottom, but as you look up, the thickness turns into thin, soft, and curved edges. The looseness found at the top represents the uplifting of heavy thoughts to relieve them. Overall, Eternal is a piece to show the nature of uplifting ideology.
