I want my piece to portray balance through light, the pieces can all be taken apart and reordered, but no matter the pattern, light always is able to illuminate. Following, the various pieces covering the holes block the light and create more pattern within the cut outs. They also help to represent the indirect path of finding the light in one's life via hope. Life has many challenges, but it is always possible to be able to find the light through the blocks.
